Chestnut Ridge Stables is located in the heart of the
Laurel Highlands in Western Pennsylvania. The stables are within a few
miles of Forbes State Forest, Ohiopyle State Park, Laurel Hill State
Park, Seven Springs Resort, and Hidden Valley Resort. Miles and miles
of maintained trails are within a very short trailer ride. Bring your
horses on vacation and let us pamper them as you enjoy the endless
recreation offered in the area between spectacular trail rides! We have the views, the parks, and the trails, yet we are only 3 miles off the Pennsylvania Turnpike's Donegal exit.
Chestnut Ridge Stables is a small stable offering individualized care for your horse on a long-term or vacation basis. Our facilities include three stable areas housed in two separate barns. Stalls are 10X10 and larger. Each stall is equipped with rubber mat, hay rack and salt block. We have six pastures, which allows us to rotate grazing frequently. An outdoor riding arena is available to all boarders. We also offer trailering to nearby state forest trailheads (see additional services).

Directions: From the Donegal Turnpike exit, turn left onto Route 31 (towards Seven Springs). Go past the campland on your right, up a hill, and as you descend, look for the Prudential Real Estate office and the American Legion on your right. Turn right between these two buildings onto Mountain View Road. Go to the top and turn left at the T onto Mt. Olive Road. We are the 4th drive on the right...166 Mt. Olive Road.
